See EndShields working

A demo is a call with the EndShields team. We show the app catching a harmless test file on a real computer, the dashboard your business would use, and how a pilot on your own devices would run.

Last updated 30 October 2026

Who it's for

Businesses with Windows and Mac computers that want ransomware protection on each one, and one place to see which computers are protected and what was found on them.

What the demo covers

  • The EndShields app detecting the EICAR test file, a standard harmless file every antivirus recognises, and moving it to quarantine.
  • The organisation dashboard: your devices, when each was last seen, and what was found.
  • How an alert reaches you by email, and how you record what you did about it.
  • Adding a computer and inviting your colleagues.

Where EndShields is today

We would rather you heard this from us than found it out later.

  • Works today: detection on the device, automatic quarantine, quick, full and right-click scans, two detection engines (signatures and pattern rules), and the dashboard. Detection works offline.
  • Still being built: sharing detections between devices, automatic blocking, and behaviour detection, which is in testing.
  • Windows and macOS only. There is no Linux version.
  • The public release is planned for December 2026. EndShields is free during the private beta.

After the demo

If it suits you, we can set up a small pilot on a few of your own computers, agree with you what it should prove, and go through the results together at the end. Nothing is installed on your computers without your agreement.
